The Ghost Tree Invitational is the largest celebrity, golf and culinary event in the region. This three day, non-profit event benefits local charities in Central Oregon that work with children, including KIDS Center. Day one kicks off with a Skills Challenge, followed by the first annual Celebrity Auction, where between 25 and 30 sports and entertainment celebrities will be auctioned off to participating foursomes in the golf tournament the next day.
Celebrities include: Ricky Watter (NFL Running Back), Christopher McDonald (Happy Gilmore), Vanessa Marcil (Las Vegas), Carmine Giovinazzo (CSI:NY), Hill Harper (CSI:NY), Anthony Anderson (Law & Order), Grete Eliassen (Professional Skier), Terry Porter (NBA Player and Coach) and many more!
The Ghost Tree Invitational golf tournament begins on Friday with a double shotgun with over 55 golf teams battling it out in a scramble format tournament. Winners from the Gross and Net Divisions will win a golf vacation to Las Vegas.
Saturday night is the main event - The Dinner on the Range! Over 1,100 guests will celebrate the last night of Ghost Tree, as 19 chefs from the finest Central Oregon restaurants prepare amazing cuisine to sample throughout the evening. Also onsite are 8 wineries, 5 breweries, specialty desserts, gin/vodka tastings, cigar bar and a fabulous silent auction. Dance the night away to the sounds of live band, Liquid Blue—winner of the Best Dance Band Award and Best Independent Band in America awards.
