Our mission: “Dedicated to the prevention, evaluation and treatment of child abuse”

KIDS Center serves over 600 children annually with child abuse evaluation and treatment services. Evaluations include comprehensive medical examinations and child-friendly forensic interviews. Treatment includes therapy provided on-site by Deschutes Mental Health therapists. KIDS Center also provides education and consultation to community members and professionals throughout Central and Eastern Oregon on issues related to child abuse and neglect. Community prevention efforts include organizing the annual Blue Ribbon Campaign in April and providing Darkness to Light child sexual abuse prevention trainings.
