KIDS Center serves over 600 children annually who need evaluation and treatment for sexual abuse, physical and emotional abuse, and neglect. Treatment services include head-to-toe medical examinations and ongoing therapy placement. Prevention efforts include organizing the annual Blue Ribbon Campaign in April, coordinating the Deschutes County Multi-Disciplinary Team, and consulting/training for child advocacy centers in other counties in Central and Eastern Oregon. KIDS Center is part of a wide network of state, county, and private organizations addressing child abuse in Central Oregon.
