12th Annual Healing Hearts Luncheon
Be the light, help a child shine!
Monday, April 6, 2020 | 11:30am – 1:00pm (Program starts at noon)
Riverhouse on the Deschutes | 3075 N Hwy 97, Bend, OR 97703
For over 25 years KIDS Center has been hearing, helping and healing children and families impacted by child abuse.
Your participation in this luncheon will make the next 25 years possible, helping children heal and preventing others from ever being abused.
Child abuse happens in secrecy across all races and ethnic and cultural backgrounds regardless of education and social economic status. 90% of child abuse victims know their perpetrator – he/she is most often a trusted family member or friend. Children face terrible violence, neglect and abuse every day – even in Central Oregon. To prevent it, stop it and give children the chance to heal from it, the entire community needs to know the facts, be willing to talk about it, and DO something about it!
Do you want to Be the Light and Help a Child Shine?
If you do, please participate in our Healing Hearts Luncheon. There are three ways to help make a difference: attend as a guest, be a table captain, or become a sponsor!
Attend As a Guest
We’d love to have you join us! There is no charge for the lunch; however, this is KIDS Center’s annual fundraising event and 0ur goal is that every guest will make a gift in any amount that is meaningful to them. Please RSVP by emailing email@example.com or calling at 541.306.6063.
Become a Sponsor
We hope you will partner with us to help children and families in our community. Please consider becoming a sponsor for our 2020 Healing Hearts Luncheon. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can’t attend the luncheon but still want to help a child shine?
Be a Table Captain
Do everything a Table Captain would do, but ask one of your guests to act as a Table Captain Host in your absence…all they need to do is go a bit early, greet guests, and hand out envelopes at the end of the luncheon when requested to do so by the speaker.
